With more than a decade of experience in these areas, Paula is dedicated to ensuring her clients make informed decisions to meet both their immediate and long-term goals. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a resident of Central Florida for over 30 years, Paula has a deep understanding of both local and international legal landscapes, making her an asset to clients from around the world. Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, Paula excels at working with clients from Latin America and beyond, guiding them through the intricacies of U.S. legal systems. She is known for her ability to explain complex legal issues in a way that makes clients feel confident and informed.

Paula graduated with a Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where she earned the highest overall bar exam score of her graduating class. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from Rollins College, Magna Cum Laude.

Paula enjoys giving back to the community. She spent time as a student representative in Barry University’s Immigration Clinic, representing clients in need of legal assistance. She also volunteered in the non-profit Justice Calls to research human trafficking case law, and has contributed to various legal publications. She is an active pro-bono attorney volunteer with Community Legal Services and held past leadership roles in the Central Florida Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of her legal career, Paula stays active as a competitive rower and enjoys spending time with her husband, their two boys, and their family dog.
